We went to Butterfly Farm recently, outing for macro, insect and critters outing. Timing not so “chun”, didnt manage to shot butterfly much.
3 hours outing inside the farm. I use sigma 105 macro lens and +4 B&W diopter.
The farm located near lake garden Kuala Lumpur. Entrance fee is RM18 for adult, RM8 for children. (Malaysian RM8 for adult, RM4 for children) and camera is RM1 per camera. Tripod are not allow in the farm.

Beautiful pictures! But if any animals or insects become really angry, it’s best you leave as soon as possible for both the creature’s well-being and yours.
Hi Xizi Luo..
yes.. im agree with you.. leave ASAP when we see a changes of the animal
nice shots
Thanks Kevin
Love the photo of the dragonfly. You did well with the other photos, too.
The world used to be one big butterfly garden. But butterflies lay eggs and eggs become larvae or worms that feed on leaves. And people did not want them in their “cultured” “expensive” gardens. So they started exterminated all insects and want them extinct.
I guess we have to make a special world for all them insects.
